With more than 20 years of experience in the makeup.I was also beauty consultant/advisor for international beauty products companies & recently been appointed as a member of the Talent Advisory Panel for beauty & wellness with Singapore People's Association.Local publication "Her World" voted me "Best Makeup Artist" in 2002 and I was invited to sit in the judging panels of national competitions like "Matatila Beauty/Hair (Jakarta/Indonesia) 2003" and "Her World Beauty Awards 2006".
I would like to seek for your professional advice on selection of makeup colours:
(1) Cheek For natural look, should we go for matt or sherme blusher? Does pink supposed to be more natural for daily use? Any recommendation for natural pink blusher?
(2) Lip In order to achieve the japanese nude lip colour, we should be using the nude lipstick / lip gloss. However, most nude lip gloss is unable to cover our own lip's dark skin colour. How can we lighten our lip's colour in order to use the nude lipstick / lip gloss?
Looking forward to your great advice. THANKS alot in advance!
(1)Cheek - For more natural look is best to select cheek colour in sheer/tranlucent tone. Peachy pink or coral for people with darker skin tone but if your skin are fair than most sheer colours are ok. (2)To achieve nude lip colour best to choose a creamy base lipstick as this than can cover darker lip tone, but however some brands' lipgloss can be quite strong in tone/texure that may also help to cover the darker lip tone.Another way is to used a nude tone lip pencil to fill up the whole lips than follow by lipstick/lipgloss but this can be a bit dry for the lips so you may want to apply a lipbalm before that.
