The way to use cleansing oil
I used to avoid any products with the name "oil" in it as I always have oily skin during my teenage day. Only after I've learn about the proper way to use cleansing oil.
First you must find out if the cleansing oil emulsify in water? As the olden days cleansing oil/cream does not. Which means the cleansing oil can be dissolve in water. Thus the very important thing to take note is to use them with dry hand/skin(no water on the hand/skin)first. Apply the cleansing oil over the face & do a gentle massage for a minute or so than wet your hand with clean water & massage again gently, by this time you'll see that the cleansing oil on your face have turn milky, rinse the face with plenty water.
For a long time, I have been pretty loyal to Shu Uemura's cleansing oils. In the past time, I once tried different makeup removers from Fancl and RMK (honestly, they are all excellent makeup removers). During that time, I always wanted to try DHC Deep Cleansing Oil because I heard many people rave about it.I was thinking to give it a try. And, the result was outstanding!
Compared to other cleansing oil, the texture of DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is thicker. It is a little harder to spread over and apply on the face at the beginning. However, it dissolves makeup easily and quickly. The olive oil based ingridents deliver a gentile feeling,& It feels totally clean and supple after cleansing!

DHC skin care in Singapore Watson
I’m so glad to know that DHC products are finally in Singapore Watsons Stores now! (From 5th November 2009 in Bugis Junction,Compass Point, Ion, Ngee Ann City & Raffles City branches)
My first encounter with DHC skin care was quite some years back when I was traveling in Tokyo. What attracted me at that time was the Coenzyme Q10 lotion, as I wasn’t sure what’s Q10 at that moment, my Japanese friend tried to explain to me with his simple English about Coenzyme Q10, & I bought the product to try out due to me running out of moisturizing lotion at that time.
So what can CoQ10 do for your skin? In most people over thirty, levels of CoQ10 in the skin are below optimum, resulting in lesser ability to produce collagen, elastin and other important skin molecules. Besides this, CoQ10-depleted skin may be more prone to the damage by free radicals, which are particularly abundant in the skin since it is exposed to the elements. Thus, CoQ10 may boost skin repair, skin regeneration and reduce free radical damage. Furthermore, CoQ10 is a small molecule that can relatively easily penetrate into skin cells.
Watsons Singapore already has this range of Q10 products, other than their best sellers which is the Olive essentials range. I will also want to try out more of their skin care products!
Bourjois Effet Metallise
Was looking for metallic pencil liner for a photo shoot that day & manage to find this from Bourjois. This highly metallic pencil liner is ultra creamy and glides on smooth. Love the color! You can actually use it to line or fill in your entire lid but I must say the staying power is not that great under our hot sun though!
