Hi Andy!

I always forget to put on mascara!
Conceal, powder, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick then out of the house!

Don't know why I can forget... lol

I always go to Besic Beauty at Heeren. Check it out~

Do you have any tips for concealing red pimples? Mine always turn cakey & obvious. T.T

Thanks

Hi Ateliergal

Maybe you can try Shu Uemura concealer pencil? They come in two different color tone on each end of this pencil.

Hi Andy,

I recently bought a smudge proof mascara from Lancome (lancome Virtuose). It really lengthens and thickens my eyelashes. However, after a while, I notice dark smudges below my eye lids, wehre the lashes come into contact with the face when I blink. I have tried to use a clear mascara over it, but the problem still occurs. Is there any way in which I can solve this other than switching to another brand? Incidentally, would you be able to recommend which are the brands that offer mascara (lengthening and thickening effect) that is waterproof and smudge proof?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Andy,

I recently bought a smudge proof mascara from Lancome (Lancome Virtuouse) which does a superb job at lengthening and thickening my eyelashes. However, I noticed that it leaves a slight smudge on the area below my eyelids where the lashes come into contact with my face when I blink. I've goine back to the counter where I bought it and the sales assistant said that she didn't have that problem when she used it herself. I've tried putting clear mascara over it, but still no use. I look like a panda if I don't remove the smudges with a tissue. How can I solve this without wasting the mascara? On another note, would you be able to recommend which are the good brands that offer water-proof and smudge-proof mascara (lengthening and thickening)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi fleur

I've not try the mascara you mention so I can't really tell you much about it! Sorry!
Anyway most of the waterproof mascara is just "water"proof but not "oil" proof!! Maybe your skin are very oily I guess??
I'm afraid there's no other way than changing other brands of mascara! So far most of the TV artists have try Maybelline waterproof Great lashes & have no problem with it but as I say maybe when come to waterproof there's not a problem but not oil proof!!

Hi Gwen

Yes! Most of the bigger department store in orchard area have "Guerlain" counter. Tangs, Takashimaya,Isetan,Robinson.
I've seen Kanebo Lunasol face wakening but have not try it. Also don't think there've in Singapore. Is a morning massage gel to help promote regeneration of your skin texture but don't know if's really that good? Sorry!

Halo Andy,

i bought the eyeliner some time ago. The handling is good as in it's easy to use but then maybe you are right. it's water proof and not oil proof.

I also have the problem that it'll smudge abit. So far i still havent find a liquid eyeliner or mascara that doesn's make my eyes look like panda. :D

Hi Andy,

In order to have fabulous lashes without the hassle to put on mascara, will you recommend eyelash extension?

Have you tried browhaus services?

Thanks,
Kris

Hi Winnie

Recently I found a drug store brand"KATE" from BKK. They've this Super sharp liner which I think is really waterproof/smudge proof.Quite good! Not sure Singapore's Watson selling or not?

Hi kris

for eyelashes extention it all depend on the beautician's skill. If she good in it than the lash extention will look great but if not than you may look very fake!
Sorry I've not tried browhaus services.

Hi

For unbalance eyelids problem - Usually what I do is to apply a thicker eye line on the single eye lid side than the double eye lid side. Also while you're doing the eyeline start with a thin line first than slowly add thicker according to balance the thickness of both eye line when your eyes look straight into the mirror.
For very oily T-zone - so far I think the best way is to go to a skin doctor for IPL treatment as this can really help to balance the oiliness of the skin.

Is KATE a Japanese brand?

If it is I have not seen it in Singapore.

I'm going to Hongkong next week. Probably will scan for some other brands to try. Will let you know if I managed to find any. =D

Hi Winnie

Yes "Kate" is a Japanese brand which I think is under Kanebo. I think I ever see them at Seiyu Bugis Junction but not sure they still carry it.
Do take care if you're going HK now having lots of flu virus!!
