The way to use cleansing oil
I used to avoid any products with the name "oil" in it as I always have oily skin during my teenage day. Only after I've learn about the proper way to use cleansing oil.
First you must find out if the cleansing oil emulsify in water? As the olden days cleansing oil/cream does not. Which means the cleansing oil can be dissolve in water. Thus the very important thing to take note is to use them with dry hand/skin(no water on the hand/skin)first. Apply the cleansing oil over the face & do a gentle massage for a minute or so than wet your hand with clean water & massage again gently, by this time you'll see that the cleansing oil on your face have turn milky, rinse the face with plenty water.
For a long time, I have been pretty loyal to Shu Uemura's cleansing oils. In the past time, I once tried different makeup removers from Fancl and RMK (honestly, they are all excellent makeup removers). During that time, I always wanted to try DHC Deep Cleansing Oil because I heard many people rave about it.I was thinking to give it a try. And, the result was outstanding!
Compared to other cleansing oil, the texture of DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is thicker. It is a little harder to spread over and apply on the face at the beginning. However, it dissolves makeup easily and quickly. The olive oil based ingridents deliver a gentile feeling,& It feels totally clean and supple after cleansing!

Organic olive oil is also a good and natural makeup remover that hydrates your skin and removes waterproof mascara as well (or so I've heard it does)! And it's cheap. Haha! :)
I use that product. I order it from a retailer who travels frequently to Taipei.
hallo andy,i was just wondering, have u ever tried using pure olive oil as makeup remover?
:P
thanks
Hi Vanilla
Olive Oil can indeed be a great and inexpensive beauty tool for many people but I have not tried using pure olive oil's product as makeup remover. I feel that might be too oily specially for people with oily skin & also not sure is it safe for contact lenses user.
Hi Andy,
Does the DHC Cleansing Oil only act as a make-up remover? Or can we just use it as daily cleansing face oil?
Thank you!
Hi Angeline
Yes! As long as you cleanse it well, it can be used as a daily cleanser.
