Shiseido Maquillage new eyeshadow palette!

Love this Shiseido Maquillage new eye shadow palette SV844! Have been using it on few celebrities/artists & they all love the fine texture & slide shimmy color tone! You can use it as normal daily makeup or just to layer & top on with darker blue/black gel line to have a evening look! Great for all skin tone!

Hi vfrois

I'll apply the dark grey/black near to the lash line area as well as the outer corner of the eyes to create a longer eye effect, for the silverly color next to the dark grey/black I'll apply above the lash line, as for the lavender blue tone will be on the socket & shimmer white on brow bone area.
For people with single eye lid is better to apply the dark grey/back thicker on the lash line in order to make the eye look bigger & brighter.

thanks for the tips! hmm what abt double eyelid? thinner grey back on the lash line? sometimes the eyeliner makes my eyes smaller maybe too thick?

Yes! Maybe your eyeliner's you've drawn on the lash line's too thick! Use a fine/thinner blush to apply will be better.

Hi Andy,

I have problem when apply mascara as it look messy. and how to use eyelash curler as i find it hard to curl as it crooks. thanks alot

andylee makeup artist from singapore said...

Start with eye lash curler - curl from the nearer the root of your lashes & slowly move out bit by bit toward the end of lashes.
apply mascara - if you've problem with the messy part or crumpy of mascara standby another clean mascara brush. After you've apply the mascara follow by using the clean mascara brush to brush thru again.
Another way of curling lashes - you can try using those battery operated curler. Once you've switch on it'll get warmer & just place it under the root of the lashes & slowly press & move up towards the end of lashes.

Hi Andy,

Any neck cream to recommend?
I am a 25 yrs old girl who has lines around my neck.
Is neck cream only for more matured skin?

Rgds,
Kris

Hi Kris

So far I've not come across a really good skin care that can help remove lines on neck area... Best to look for a Aesthetics to treat this problem.

Hi Andy

What's the best powder for dry/normal sensitive skin, early 30s. my makeup sometimes goes on a bit cakey or rough, even with moisturizer :( i've tried bobbi brown pressed powder, chanel foundation, sheiseldo press powder, kose powder. wonder what went wrong?

Thanks
vfroi

Hi vfroi

I think your problem is not the makeup foundation that you're using! Partly maybe your skin is dry & sensitive which will cause your skin dead cell are too thick thus most of the powder doesn't stay well/cakey! Maybe you can try to use some hydrating sheet mask something like SK-II facial treatment mask or similar at least one or twice a week, this may help to soften the skin dead cell & you'll not have such problem any more! Hope this can help you! Take care!

Hmm but it looks cakey after some times maybe aft several hours or pressed powder touch up (bobbi brown). It seems uneven no matter how much I try to blend it in. maybe i too kiasu applied too much :(
Concealer doesn't have to be worn with any makeup or powder? or aft liquid foundation. How to apply foundation on the right way, concealer and pressed powder? Srry so many questions

Thanks!

andylee makeup artist from singapore said...

Yes! you maybe apply too much!
You can apply concealer with or without foundation but the concealer have to be close to your skin tone.
As for apply steps - Liquid/cream foundation-concealer-loose powder. Or concealer-powder foundation. Remember the more liquid type go on first!

haha I so kiasu moisturiser > make up base > tinted moisturiser > liquid foundation on the eye area and cheek > concealer > loose powder > pressed powder for touch up
thanks a lot!!! hugs
Happy Easter!

Hi tbb

Thanks for your support!
There's so many good moisturizer for dry skin selling in the stores. Is best you can go & have your skin analyse by some skin care counter first. Shiseido & Ipsa do have computer to be able to check what you skin really needs.
For single eye lid - You'll have to draw the eye liner thicker until it can be seen when your eyes are open! Most of the time if the eye liner too thin doesn't work for single eye lid as it'll be hidden when the eyes are open.
