How I did Zoe Tay's makeup during her movie Gala Premiere ?
Some friends been asking me how Ms Zoe Tay’s makeup was done during for her movie “Love Cuts” Gala Premiere. Here’s the products & makeup tips :(1) After apply all the skin care products, start with applying the whole face with cle de peau BEAUTE Pre-makeup Emulsion. This will help to smooth out the skin & it also help to make her skin look much more radiance! (2) As Ms Tay’s skin already quite smooth & good so I didn’t use any foundation instead only used a bit of cle de peau Concealer to covers spots & under eyes circles. Using finger to blend evenly!
(3) Used cle de peau Translucent Loose powder to set her base makeup.
(4) Used the same Pre-makeup Emulsion on her eye lids area as eye shadow base. (5) I used cle de peau Eye Color Quad 203 (new product) for her eyes. Apply (B) A cream shimmer color at the centre of eye lid nearer to lash area. Using (C) A dark shimmer grayish tone to defines her upper & lower lash line. Apply (A) A peachy color on her eye socket area. Apply (D) A shimmering cream pearl on her brow bone & lower inner corner of her eyes.(6) Apply Real Lasting Eyeliner from K-Palette on Ms Tay’s upper lash line. Follow by using the same (C) The dark shimmer grayish tone to smooth the eyeliner.
(7) Curl lashes by using Shiseido eye lash curler. Brush on Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara in black on upper & lower lashes.
(8) Brush on a light pinkish cheek color (PK1) from Ettusais.
(9) Apply a peachy pink Lips Rouge Glossy Perfect lipstick(PK203) from Maquillage Shiseido.

Dear Andy,
Have been faithfully reading your blog and thanks so much for all your efforts in updating and sharing info and advice :)
I have a question in this post. Hope to get some advice on this, while we know makeup base is important, can you share a bit more on the "skincare before makeup" ? for a good makeup, hydration or before makeup skincare efforts are equally important so i wonder what type of skincare you use usually before primping on makeup?
thanks so much, Andy Lao Shi dear. hehe. not "lao la" but surely a teacher for us here :)
Jarene
Hi Jarene
Thank you so much for your support!
Good & the correct skin care is essential to graceful aging. The basic skin care requires cleansing, toning, moisturizing/hydration & protection.
Will try to post some of my usual favorite skincare product soon. Thanks!
Hi Andy,
Like to check with you the pre make-up emulsion that you used, is that the smoothing base for pores / lines?
I understand that this product contains SPF, thus is it necessary to use a sunblock when using this product? If yes, should sublock be used before or after applying this product.
Many tks,
Linda
Hi Linda
The smoothing makeup emulsion that I've used is for pore & lines. The SPF of this products is around SPF20, is good enough for daily used but in case if you're under the hot sun, is better to used another higher SPF(around 50+) before the makeup emulsion.
Hi Andy,
Really appreciate your valuable advice.
Tks,
Linda
ps: Reading your blog is my daily routine even before I check my company's email...heeee :)
Thank you Linda for your great support! Have a good weekend! :)
